ACCA Global & ACCA meaning
ACCA stands for
= the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
It is the global professional accounting body offering the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification (ACCA)
Better job with ACCA?
Employers often prefer ACCA members to lead their business and finance departments.
That’s because they know that ACCA members are strategic thinkers with high ethical integrity, strong financial know-how and the right business acumen.
I've got a degree from a university ... can I get exemptions?
If you have a recognised and relevant finance or accounting degree from an ACCA-accredited university, you may get exemptions.
Even if you didn’t study at an accredited university, you may still be eligible for exemptions – depending on what you’ve already covered.
What if you don't have a degree?
You’ll start your ACCA journey at the foundation level working towards the ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business.
After this foundational level, you can start with the ACCA Qualification.
And as a bonus, you won’t have to take the Applied Knowledge exams – you’ll start at the Applied Skills exams.
