Past Exam Questions
1) SIMPLIFICATION
This is really the job of your lecturer - be it offline or online. If they don't make it seem simple then get out of there and find someone who does. That's what you're paying for.
2) REPETITION, REPETITION, REPETITION
After the simplification, you need to now re-visit the basics, the principles. Do it often. Ideally by rewatching the videos or by recapping your old notes.
Without this - you are making it 10x harder for yourself come exam time.
Aim to recap everything at least 4 times.
3) TESTING
This works in the same way as recaps but it is mimicking how your brain has to work in the actual exam - more recent studies are showing this is absolutely vital.
Do it by simple MCQs.
4) PAST EXAM QUESTIONS
This is to create an awareness of exactly how you will be tested, and to make you aware of the examiner's style, the depth of knowledge needed, where the marks are etc.
Read the examiners comments - they're vital.
Obviously we do all of this in the online classroom for you - but regardless of whether you study with us or not - these 4 factors will make your studying more efficient and effective.
Wishing you well as ever,
